The GW Rider Training ATV Course provides hands-on training, with emphasis on the safety implications relating to each lesson. Students will learn basic techniques for riding an all-terrain vehicle responsibly. The lessons include starting and stopping, quick turns, hill riding, emergency stopping & swerving and riding over obstacles; as well as, specific requirements for classes attended by children under the age of 15.

As GW Rider Training continues its constant evaluation of rider training methods and procedures, the GW Rider Training ATV Course procedures, the GW Rider Training ATV Course will undergo additional evaluation and revision.

The ATV Rider Training Course is a 1-day program which can be delivered at any location throughout the province.

The ATV Rider Training Course is divided into three age groups: 6 - 12, 13 - 15 and over 15 years of age. For a rider to qualify for the adult course they must be a minimum age of 15 years and are asked to supply their own ATV. (ATV's are supplied if necessary at an additional cost). The ATV must pass inspection. (If rider is unsure that their ATV will pass inspection, they should check with their local dealer before attending course.)  All riders that attend the training program must be riding "size appropriate" machines.

On successful completion, riders will receive a GW Rider Training Certificate.

The ATV Rider Course is registered with the New Brunswick Department of Advanced Education and Labour.
